Privacy Policy

From 25 May 2018 Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC applies (reffered as "GDPR" or "General Regulation on Data Protection"). Therefore, we would like to inform you about the processing of your data on these terms.
Please be advised that the administrator of collected personal data is Uniwersytet Gdanski, (80-309) Gdansk, Jana Bazynskiego 8, Poland.
Your personal data is collected when you register to the unres.pl portal. It includes individual’s first and last name, chosen login (username), e-mail address and institution.
We use cookies mechanism - an anonymous tracking system, but there is no "personal data" being collected. Read about cookies in the next paragraph.
Your data is processed for the purpose of:

  • authentication and authorization in the unres.pl portal
  • contact to activate account and password recovery

Your personal data will not be transferred to a third country and we do not share it with any other company, excluding that required by law.
Your personal data will be stored for a period of 6 months from the time the user or administrator of unres.pl removed the account. The processing of your personal data in such a situation will cease immediately.
We inform you that you have the right to request access to your personal data (via your own profile management), rectification, removal or limitation of it's processing or the right to object to the processing (via our contact or support forms). You can also cancel your account by yourself (via your own profile management).
Your data is not used during the profiling process (automated decision making).
Please be advised that at any time you can withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data, which is associated with the lack of access to the unres.pl's discussion/support forum.

Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to collect information about visitor behaviour on our website. This Analytics data is collected via a JavaScript tag in the pages of our site and is not tied to personally identifiable information. We therefore do not collect or store your personal information (e.g. your name or address) so this information cannot be used to identify who you are.

Our website runs the CMS system in which cookies are used to store basic data on your interactions with it and whether you have logged into it. We use a session cookie to remember your log-in for you if you are a registered user and we deem these as being strictly necessary for our website to work. If these are disabled then various functionality on the site will be broken.
